Case Study
Business Strategy -- Broadband 2008
Client:
Industry: Telecommunications
Summary
A telecommunications company wished to provide a Broadband (ADSL) internet service for its customers.
WCG consultants arranged workshops to identify the key aspects required for the broadband service, as well as the elements that would be required to support the service. An initial schedule was prepared showing key objectives, timescales, resources and costs for the main elements of the service. Based on the schedule, options were developed to show which elements would be provided by the telecoms company and which could be outsourced.
This approach simplified the decision making and made it more open. It also ensured the key goals and objectives were identified, enabling the strategic vision to be prepared. Initial communications campaigns were prepared to manage stakeholders’ initial expectations.
